Mathy Things

Welcome to the MathyThings website. This is a platform that I am using to build tools and content I use to make my math classes more engaging and interesting.

There are several components to this site, including interactive math skills practice, review games, and other resources for both teachers and students. My goal is to create a collection of tools that can help make math more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. The four areas I am currently focusing on are:

• Targeted flash card Maker : Teachers can create flash card games which focus on particular skills
• Review Game: Maker. Teachers can create themed review games (Jeopardy and Press your Luck) which creates an engaging review experience for students.
• Articles of mathematical interest: This is where I hope to develop an efficient way to create more interactive lessons including tools to allow more effective class feedback and engagement. as well as useful redirection and formative assessment.
• Classroom resource maker: This tool allows teachers to quickly create gallery walks, Puzzle worksheets, or simple worksheets with where topics can be pulled from a library of skills and problem types.
